Overview

Projects in Arctyk ITSM provide organizational grouping for related tickets. Projects help teams categorize work, track progress, and generate project-specific reports.


Key Features

Project Management

  • Create and manage projects
  • Associate tickets with projects
  • View all tickets in a project
  • Project-level filtering and reporting

Project Fields

  • name - Project name (required)
  • description - Project details (optional)
  • created_at - Creation timestamp
  • updated_at - Last modification

Ticket Association

  • One-to-many relationship (project has many tickets)
  • Tickets can belong to zero or one project
  • Cascading behavior: SET_NULL on project deletion
  • Project field on ticket forms

Usage

Creating a Project

  1. Navigate to Projects section
  2. Click "Create Project"
  3. Enter project name and description
  4. Save project

Associating Tickets

  • Select project from dropdown when creating ticket
  • Edit existing ticket to add/change project
  • View all project tickets from project detail page

Project Reports

  • Total ticket count per project
  • Status distribution within project
  • Priority breakdown
  • SLA compliance metrics
